Indian Lilac
The antifungal and antibacterial properties of Indian lilac, also known as neem, help treat dandruff as well as many other hair problems like scalp acne, itchy scalp, and hair fall efficiently.
Boil a handful of neem leaves in four cups of water.
Cool and strain the solution.
Use this decoction as a hair rinse two or three times a week.

Coconut Oil and Camphor
The mixture of coconut oil (nariyal tel) and camphor (kapoor) is very effective remedy for removing the dandruff very quickly even in one hour. Apply this mixture (two tsf coconut oil and two tablets of camphor: you can change this ratio according to your need of hair) very well all through the scalp. Massage the scalp with this mixture for 15 minutes and leave it for next 1 hr. Wash your hair using any mild shampoo after one hour. Let hair dry naturally, then you can see the result. If the result is not positive for you in just one use, you should use this remedy regularly twice or thrice a week. In order to make it more effective for persistent dandruff, you can apply this mixture at night and leave for whole night, then wash your hair in the morning. Definitely, this remedy will give a positive result by removing hair dandruff completely.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Scalp treatment with apple cider vinegar is effective in getting rid of dandruff. It restores the pH balance of the scalp, thereby inhibiting the growth of yeast. It also works as a natural hair clarifier and helps clean clogged pores and hair follicles.
Take two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
Mix an equal amount of water and 15-20 drops of tea tree oil in it.
Apply it onto your scalp and massage. Rinse your hair after a few minutes.
Follow this natural treatment two or three times a week

Baking Soda
Being a mild exfoliant, baking soda helps remove dead skin cells and absorbs excess oil. It can also help balance pH levels on the scalp and reduce the growth of fungi that cause dandruff.

Wet your hair and rub a handful of baking soda onto your scalp.
After a couple of minutes, rinse your hair well with warm water.
Repeat once or twice a week for a few weeks.
Note: Do not shampoo your hair after this treatment.

-At least 2 handfuls of neem leaves
-4-5 cups of hot water

Directions
Add two handfuls of neem leaves to 4 or 5 cups of hot water. Let it stand overnight. The next morning strain the liquid and use it to rinse your hair. You can also try making a paste out of leaves, applying it to your scalp, and letting it sit for about an hour before washing it off with water.

White Vinegar
White vinegar is one of the best home treatments for dandruff. Vinegar has acetic acid that prevents growth of fungi on your scalp and relieves itching.

Add one-half cup of vinegar to two cups of water. Rinse your hair with this mixture after shampooing your hair.
Another option is massage your scalp with a mixture of two parts white vinegar, one part olive oil and three parts water. After 10 minutes, rinse it off and shampoo your hair using a mild shampoo.
Follow either of these remedies once or twice a week.

Take Some Aspirin
Aspirin can help with more than just headaches-it’s also an easy at-home remedy for dandruff. Pure Aspirin uses a large percentage of Salicylic Acid, which is an active ingredient in many commercial anti-dandruff shampoos. Salicylic Acid has fungicidal and anti-microbial properties to fight the extra flakes caused by fungus, while the Aspirin helps with the inflamed skin that often goes hand-in-hand with severe cases of dandruff.

You will need…
-2 white Aspirin tablets
-Shampoo

Directions…
Crush up the Aspirin until it becomes a fine powder. Add it to your regular shampoo before use, making sure to leave it in your hair for about 2 minutes before rinsing completely.
