Effective Natural Home Remedies for Premature Graying of Hair


Indian Gooseberry
Indian gooseberry, or amla, is excellent for a variety of hair problems including premature graying, dull hair, and hair loss. Being rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, it has anti-aging benefits. In addition to consuming this fruit, you can also apply amla oil or amla pulp on your hair.
Put some coconut oil in a pan. Boil a few dried Indian gooseberry pieces (if you do not have dried amla then use amla powder) in the oil until they become charred. Let the oil cool. Apply the oil on your hair and scalp. Leave it on overnight, or at least for an hour, before rinsing it out. Do this at least once or twice a week.
Alternatively, you can mix together one tablespoon each of Indian gooseberry pulp and lemon juice. Massage your scalp with it at night before going to bed and wash it out the next morning.
You can also apply a combination of equal amounts of amla juice and almond oil. You can add a little lime juice, too. Apart from reducing grey hair, this also facilitates healthy hair growth.


Curry Leaves
Curry leaves help increase darker pigmentation in your hair. When combined with coconut oil, it works as a great hair tonic.

Boil a handful of fresh curry leaves in a tablespoon of coconut oil until they become charred. Strain the oil.
Massage it into your hair. Leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes before rinsing it out.
Follow this treatment at least once or twice a week.
In addition, you can consume curry juice daily.

Amla and Fenugreek Pack
Amla or Indian gooseberry is one of the most effective home remedies for grey hair and has been used since ancient times in Ayurveda for treating all kinds of hair problems. Being a rich source of antioxidant vitamin C, it has amazing anti-aging properties and helps in preventing premature greying of hair. It also promotes hair growth and improves hair health. Fenugreek or methi is a common kitchen spice, but it is loaded with nutrients such as vitamin C, Iron, potassium, lysine, L-tryptophan and alkaloids that have amazing benefits for hair and skin. It prevents premature greying, treats follicular problems to prevent hair fall, promotes hair growth and prevents scalp dryness as well as dandruff.
Ingredients:

Dried Amla – 5 to 6 pieces

Fenugreek – 1 Tablespoon

Coconut Oil – ½ Cup

Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning.

Black Tea Massage
The benefits of black tea for cancer prevention and improving cardiovascular health are well known. But it also has great benefits for skin and hair. Loaded with antioxidants and caffeine, black tea stimulates hair growth and improves strength and elasticity of the hair strands to prevent brittleness and breakage of hair. It adds a natural dark hue to hair and adds a natural shine to it.
Ingredients:

Black Tea Powder – 2 tablespoons

Salt – 1 Teaspoon

Boil 2 tablespoons of black tea and 1 teaspoon of salt in water for 2 minutes and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the liquid. Wash your hair with this liquid and let it dry, don’t rinse with shampoo. Repeat it 2 to 3 times per week for best results.

Blackstrap Molasses
Blackstrap molasses can reduce grey hair problems. It can provide 14% of the daily-recommended amount of copper. Copper is important since it can aid in producing hair pigment. Eat 1 tbsp. of blackstrap molasses each morning for several months to see good results.

Black Sesame Seeds
Black sesame seeds are effective in dealing with hair grey problems. It promotes melanocyte activity which produces melanin. To use black sesame seeds, just eat black sesame seeds every day for at least 3 months. Also, you may regularly apply some sesame oil on your hair.

Shikakai
Soak 3-4 pieces of shikakai and mix it with 10-12 nut seeds in a bowl of water over night. Boil the mixture next day and keep it in a bottle. Use the mixture as your shampoo. For your conditioner, soak some amla leaves and boil. Use a strainer to remove the amla and use the left water as your conditioner.

Onion Paste
Onion may burn your eyes but you can use the paste to treat white hair. All you would need to do rub it on your scalp and let it dry some. Your grey/white hair will turn black in few days. However use this remedy on a daily basis to get desired results.If you do it once in a week, you will see no progress. Make sure that you do it everyday! You would need to peel off the onion skin and grind the onions. Apply the paste on your scalp and let it be for a while. Wash it off after 30 minutes or so. You can shampoo your hair too because onion leaves an unpleasant smell.

Coconut Oil And Lemon Juice
White hair is irritating and unpleasant. If you want to get rid of it and turn it into black then massage and oil your hair with a mix of lemon juice and coconut oil. This is an effective home remedy and it works wonders! You should do this each and every day to get desired results. Carrot Juice
Carrot juice is healthy as well as tasty. If you want to prevent and cure white hair then drink a glass of carrot juice on a daily basis. Your hair will not turn white and you will get rid of the problem too. It also helps in keeping your hair healthy and strong.You can make fresh carrot juice at home as well. Do not apply it on your hair because this works best when you consume it. Drinking carrot juice can be very health for your overall health as well. So, drink lots of carrot juice because it will not hurt you at all!
