Home Remedies for Natural Soft Lips



Sugar
Exfoliating dead cells off your chapped lips will help restore their natural softness faster.
Mix two teaspoons of sugar with one teaspoon of honey. Apply the paste to your lips and let it sit for a few minutes.
Then use your fingers to gently rub the mixture around on your lips to loosen the dead skin cells.
Wash it off with lukewarm water.

Honey
Honey is a great moisturizer that also has healing and antibacterial properties to treat chapped lips.
Simply apply pure organic honey on your chapped lips several times a day.
You can also make a paste of honey and glycerin and apply it before going to bed to enjoy softer lips in the morning.

Rose Petals
The rose plant in your garden can also come to your rescue when suffering from chapped lips. This remedy will help your lips stay moisturized while also enhancing their beautiful color.
Wash a handful of rose petals thoroughly in water. Soak the petals in milk for a few hours. (If you have issues with dairy products, you can soak them in glycerin instead.)
Mash the rose petals into a thick paste.
Apply the paste on your dry lips two to three times a day and every night before going to bed.

Glycerine
Glycerine is extremely moisturizing therefore it is used in most of the lip products too. You can either apply glycerine directly on the lips or combine it with few drops of honey, especially if you have extremely dry lips.

Milk cream
Milk cream is also extremely beneficial. All you need to do is take some milk cream and apply directly on the lips.

Petroleum jelly
Petroleum jelly is the easiest way to heal dry chappy lips. Invest in the pure petroleum jelly and apply it religiously on your lips and see it do wonders to your lips. You can also treat them overnight to wake-up to super soft and smooth lips.

Jojoba Oil
This oil can moisturize your lips by nurturing the cells within the lips. It can also help in building new skin cells, which in turn repair your skin right away. Jojoba oil will give you a natural immediate relief from chapped lips.

How to Use:

Home remedies for dry lips don’t have to be complicated. Just take a few drops of the jojoba oil and put it on the area which is affected. Leave it on for around 15 minutes.

Green Tea Bag
This is the best of all home remedies for dry lips and also the oldest home remedy which many follow. The wet green tea bag can effectively moisturize your dry lips. 

How to Use:

Take 1 used green tea bag and press it against your lips for at least 4 minutes. Do this every day to raise the moisture content of your lips.

Lemon Juice
This home remedy will stop the aging of skin. It will help to nourish the sensitive skin on your lips, which results in softer and smoother lips.

How to Use:

Mix together 1 teaspoon of cream or milk with 3 drops of lemon juice in a bowl.

Put the bowl in the refrigerator for an hour, then take it out.

Put the mixture on and around your lips before going to bed.

If you do this for 3 days, you’ll get the best results.

Olive oil
Take one teaspoon of olive oil and massage it gently on your lips, just before sleeping. Let it stay overnight and wash off in the morning. Olive oil keeps the lips hydrated and also lightens them.

Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has excellent healing properties and will cure your dry and chapped lips, making them moist and pink. Just apply some aloe vera gel and keep it overnight.
